^ EVENT IDENTITY & BRANDING

THE SUMMARY

In collaboration with LMS Events, we identified the following key themes & ideas for the Henkel Beauty Care Conference 2019: Growth, Boldness, Innovation and Daring to be different.

When creating the event identity, we used a hexagonal element made up of strands, to depict growth and ensure the logo was relevant to the topic of haircare. The fade effect used on the shape introduces movement and the idea of openness.

Using the words ‘DARE 2019’, both communicates the theme and instructs the delegates on the core action for 2019. Re-enforcing the ‘Dare to Be’ concept and elaborating on how to take the action, are the words, ‘Be different’.

The logo has been designed to use both the Henkel primary colours, and switch between the vast secondary palettes to create a more interesting and visually vibrant look and feel. The logo was created to be flexible, allowing it to be modified to communicate the core ideas of the theme. The word ‘different’ can be swapped out for various other descriptives to inspire and motivate delegates on a personal level.
