Relating back to the launch event theme and the ‘LIVE‘ interaction approach, we proposed an initiative that will create momentum, interest and seek to cement the theme into company culture after launch ... How? Through regular connection.
Introducing TechConnect. This is a platform for sharing, connecting, partnering, improvement and engineering change. Regular Internal TechConnect events are held to foster an inclusive, collaborative culture and nurture a competitive spirit. The style and size of event can range from a morning coffee Q & A, through to team builds and full-length seminars. National events can be linked live to provide feedback, updates and networking opportunities.
The core content for this platform will be staff generated, allowing input and involvement from all levels. Relevant content and hot topics will be decided and moderated upon through leadership involvement and submissions by staff.
Staff are encouraged to interact, connect and build partnerships in order to create content. An incentive programme also forms part of the platform. All content submitted is entered into a content pool, either via an intranet portal or a secure TechConnect website. The most innovative and collaborative submissions will be selected. Those contributors are then rewarded with the opportunity to experience CHANGE &
POSSIBILITY in the form of an all expenses paid travel prize. The travel destinations can include all or a selection of Sasol’s international locations.
